Our users make real decisions with the numbers we publish, so our research has to hold up to professional scrutiny.

As a Senior Data Analyst you will own analysis end to end: define the methodology, have AI agents build and test the datasets, and turn the results into product features, data studies and the deep dives we publish. Your edge is judgment, not typing speed.

What you’ll do

Own methodologies for analyst track records, risk metrics and portfolio diagnostics
Run research with AI agents: data pulls, backtests, robustness checks, first drafts
Design the checks that stop an AI or a bad feed from putting a wrong number in front of users
Produce original data studies and the data packs behind Exent’s deep dives
Mentor junior analysts on doing rigorous work with AI

What you’ll bring

5+ years in data analysis, quantitative research or investment analysis
Strong Python and SQL, and fluency with AI agents in your daily work
Solid statistics: significance, bias, look-ahead and survivorship pitfalls
Deep understanding of equities, portfolio construction and risk
The judgment to say “the data doesn’t support this” and the writing to explain why

Nice to have

Buy-side, sell-side or trading experience
Experience with FMP, FRED or similar data vendors
Published research or a public portfolio of analysis
